The Israeli Society for Human Resources Management is the largest professional non-profit organisation representing the Human Resources profession and all HR professionals in Israel. We currently enjoy a network of over 1,000 HR professionals in Israel and new members are joining us at a growing frequency. Founded in 2003 by Mr Eli Lazar, currently VP HR of Creo in Israel, the ISHRM operates with a Managing Committee of senior professionals in Israel under the guidance of a Public Advisory Committee representing all sectors of Israeli business and public services.
Our mission is to advance the Human Resources profession and HR Professionals in order to make a positive difference to the way business is done in Israel. We do this through our work on our key strategic objectives:
- the development of a Certification programme for the HR function in Israel
- the development, issue and assimilation of a Code of Ethics for HR professionals
In addition, the ISHRM is an active Society with a wide range of activities including:
- Members Host…. Member organisations host meetings for Society members to share best practice and get to know each other
- In Transition … a support programme for HR professional who are between roles
- Consultation Committee ..a consultation service for HR Professionals wishing to solicit the advice of Experts to resolves specific issues
- Training Community – an highly active community of Training professionals sharing best practice and developing common models
- Member Benefits – a wide range of member benefits for products, courses and services at special rates is offered to members

The ISHRM collaborates with other organisations in conferences, workshops and many forms of meetings where there is added professional value to ISHRM Members.
The ISHRM is affiliated to the US SHRM and is a Corresponding member of the EAPM.
